South Eastern Trains – Shower Refurbishment Project - Orpington MDU

Overview:

Refurbishment of existing building and office space to provide new shower facilities.

Key Works:

  • Refurbishment of office interiors

  • Reconfigure electrical installation

  • Install new 300L pressurised water heater

  • Install new hot & cold water services

  • Reconfigure existing waste water drainage
    Construct 3 new fully refurbished shower units

Outcome:

Delivered with minimal disruption. CLG has remained an approved supplier to South Eastern Trains for over 19 years, supporting them through multiple organisational changes.

Network Rail - Milton Keynes Quadrant

Overview:

Refurbish existing main reception area to The Quadrant front entrance

Key Works:

  • Replace inset vinyl floors to all areas
  • Install new custom "Corian" tops to all counter tops in coffee bar areas
  • Update main reception desks and re-clad in situ
  • Create new microwave station to main dining area
  • Upgrade existing kitchen facilities operational staff

Outcome:

Works were carefully programmed to avoid disruption to the building’s main reception and daily operations.

Network Rail – James Forbes House - New Training Centre

Overview:

Complete refurbishment of existing office floor to create new stand alone training centre

Key Works:

  • Concept layouts and planning

  • Complete internal re-wire and repositioning of electrical outlets to all areas

  • Adaptation and expansion of air conditioning

  • Full internal refurbishment to provide stand alone glazed class rooms, kitchen & break out areas, upgrade
    toilet facilities

  • Adapt existing ceilings & lighting, install vinyl flooring and carpet tiles, full internal redecoration to all areas

Outcome:

Provide fully equipped state of the art training environment to allow operational staff training to be completed in house.

Tilbury Arches – Full Site Redevelopment

Overview:

Complete redevelopment of a 12-arch site, transforming underutilised infrastructure into high-quality commercial units.

Key Works:

  • Arch refurbishment and internal re-lining

  • Construction of new arch frontages with glazed infills

  • Roller shutters and fire doors

  • New insulated concrete floors

  • Drainage, water supply and power infrastructure

  • Small power and lighting installations

  • Accessible toilet facilities to each arch

Outcome:

A successful regeneration project delivered in coordination with Network Rail and statutory providers, creating modern, lettable units from legacy infrastructure.

Clapham Car Park – Depot Regeneration

Overview:

Regeneration and refurbishment works within an operational rail-related facility, delivered with strict adherence to access, safety and programme controls.

Waterloo Station – High Level Cleaning Works

Overview:

High-level cleaning works to the entire roof structure and lighting installation ahead of the station’s redevelopment programme.

Key Challenges:

  • One of London’s busiest stations

  • Restricted working hours

  • Complex access requirements

Delivery:

CLG worked closely with the station facilities management team to develop a structured programme using specialist access solutions, allowing works to proceed without impacting daily station operations.
